Pre-Interview - I'm 24 with high functioning autism. Which makes life socially difficult. I've been a self published author for 4 years. Writing Ben Gamer a story idea I've had since I was 12 years old in 2015. Since then I wrote 2 sequels. 2 inspiration books and my latest book a sports novel Altria all star QB. My goal is to inspire my readers. Each book has a lesson in it. This is my way of reaching out to people.

Ena & Seth

Ena: Many great writers and authors say they were often inspired by an event or aspect of their life, so what inspires you most to write?
Seth: Helping readers learn a life lesson from my books. Such as Everyone has a purpose for example.
Ena: With a wide variety to choose from, what is your favourite genre?
Seth: Science fiction
Ena: Who is one author you admire if any and why?
Seth: C.S. Lewis who believed books can provide a lesson. He's the one who inspired me to write.
Ena: In the land of writing, there's writers block, how do you overcome blank writing spells?
Seth: I do the best I can on the story, so it makes sense to my readers
Ena: What legal publishing advice can you give?
Seth: Always make sure you have your own ideas. It's ok to like something from another writer make it your own thing to avoid copyright
Ena: During your writing career, how many books have you written; are any a bestseller yet?
Seth: 7 books. My best seller is Ben Gamer out of all my books. Would love for it to get on a best sellers list.
Ena: As author, I think it'd be a big deal to have a chance to write a short film or movie, if you had the opportunity to rewrite one movie script which would it be, why?
Seth: The only movie script I would do is if someone made a movie of my book. I would want to, to stay true to the story from the book. Do everything properly
Ena: Being a writer/author can have its challenges at times, what are some difficulties you've experienced in your writing career; how do you handle book critiques/criticism?
Seth: I simply ignore people who say they don't like my books. The most difficulty I have is getting my books to people. Other than friend and family near me
Ena: What are your best experiences in your writing career?
Seth: When I saw my high school, I graduated from bought and display my books
Ena: A quiet room can give you the ultimate concentration or you'll think of every distraction, which do you prefer, writing in silence and or having sound in the background?
Seth: I write in silence, so I don't have any distractions
Ena: With all the pressure that comes with writing, and becoming an author/writer, what are some encouraging words you'd give to another author/writer?
Seth: Never give up. If you need a second option, I'll be able to read your work. I love meeting authors.
Ena: How did you decide the pricing of your material; how did you go about promotion/advertising and distribution of your work?
Seth: I determine on the size of book and how long it is. I do social media for promoting. Facebook Instagram and YouTube. My books are all on Amazon and amazon kindle. Which helps me a lot. I really count on my fans to spread the word through word of mouth.
Ena: Hundreds of thousands of books floating around, the Million-dollar question, why should anyone read your book?
Seth: People should my book. Because it's a different world I've created. I've made a world where Gamers goes into the gaming world where they can become solider, nightmare, assassin, alien, sports, robot, or super hero gamers. In each book they'll learn a lesson from each story. In a way it has changed my life and it can for everyone who reads it.
Ena: Professional, experienced advice or guidance can be what a writer needs at times to take their book to the next level, did you have a book coach?
Seth: No
Ena: I've always been fun of school, so I must ask, what was your favourite subject in school?
Seth: I would say history, learning about people in our timeline
Ena: Are you self-published or have an established publishing contract elsewhere?
Seth: Self published
